Research

The core of the Institute’s activities is business-relevant research into the profound transformations taking place in the world, particularly in Asia, that will be contextualised for strategy and action by businesses. The Institute will adopt a three-to-five year time frame for examining issues shaping today’s global economic agenda.

Such research is geared towards facilitating action for business as well as innovative policy and strategy recommendations for policymakers in order to have a tangible “real world” impact. The goal is to provide fresh Asian insights and perspectives at the intersection of business and social issues with the ultimate goal of fostering global growth and sustainability.

The Institute disseminates its research findings and ideas online and in print, through various publications, including books, articles, policy briefs, op-ed contributions and case studies. It also engages its corporate partners in the development of key research themes - ensuring that they are informed by both the perspectives of business leaders and front-line reality - and disseminates its findings through business briefings, executive roundtables, media gatherings, and other mechanisms that promote knowledge sharing, constructive debate and outreach to key stakeholders.
